Sludge Heat Exchanger Pipework Cleaning

We were asked to clean and unblock a sludge heat exchanger pipework package using ultra-high-pressure (UHP) water jetting.

The heat exchanger consisted of 20 tubes, each 100mm in diameter and 6 metres long.

Including mobilisation and demobilisation, our two-man team completed the job in the 3 days we estimated it would take, and the fouling/blockages were cleared efficiently, restoring full operational performance.

Attached are before and after photos showing the condition of the tubes prior to cleaning and the results achieved.
