The tools RGL employ for their Tank and Vessel cleaning operations are varied and have many applications in a wide range of industries.

One such application that we have found to be successful is the cleaning of lorry mounted and on site batching plant concrete mixer drums. This technique however is not cost effective for small on site concrete mixers unless it is done as part of another on site job.

Over time concrete builds up on the inside of the drums and greatly affects the efficiency both of the mixing and the transportation. Large amounts of additional fuel are required to transport the extra weight and also drive the mixer drum. If you multiply this extra weight over a whole fleet of trucks and then over a period of months or years the savings in fuel costs made by having your fleet regularly cleaned could be significant.

In addition to the above there are benefits to be had from increased volume within the drum and the reduced chance of batch contamination.
